Cysic said in an update reported on 2026-10-23 that it plans to burn 7,200,000 CYS from foundation reserves by 2026-10-31 following a cross-chain bridge security incident.
The project said the planned burn is intended to offset the impact of unauthorized minting and bring the token supply back into line with its tokenomics model.
